I’m all for human rights. God and our founding fathers gave us those rights. We have freedom to choose between right and wrong, between good and evil, and to obey God or not. He gave us free will to choose our way or His way, and there are consequences for those choices, good and bad.
We have the right to vote or not. We have the right to freely worship as we choose. We have the right to say whatever we want, go wherever we want, and do whatever we want. We have the right to love or hate. We have the right to take life or save it. Remember though, we are not free from the consequences of those choices. We reap what we sow.
With all the rights that we have, we do not have the right to choose our gender. That has been determined by God in the womb. I don’t care what happens after that, what your experiences are, or what your feelings are. You cannot change your gender by simply stating how you feel or even through drugs and surgeries. All that can do is altar and disfigure what God made you to be and facilitate you living a lie.
The truth is, God created you, male or female. He knit you together in your mother’s womb. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. You were created to worship Him with your life. God is not confused and He doesn’t make mistakes.
Turn to Jesus and He will guide you into all truth, wisdom, righteousness and godliness. In Him is salvation, redemption, forgiveness, purpose, contentment and abundant life. In Him is our identity and worth.
Remaining steadfast in proclaiming truth, no matter the overwhelming opposition.
